TWIN BOYS

20 months

Yeah for 20 months!  These past 5 months have been rough, I'm not going to lie!  Twins started walking about 15 1/2 months and when one boy decided that it was ok to walk, the other one did too.  Same day pretty much.  They were wobbling for a couple months and really just the last 2 months they have finally become steady.  They love stairs and are becoming better at going up and down.  We have worked and worked to have the twins go down the stairs on their tummy or bums, but they prefer to walk.
Speech.  We started speech therapy a few months ago and progress is being made.  Jaxon can now say mom, dad, shoes, hat, uh oh, Lyndee (kind of), and sometimes look.  Jordan can mom and dad and a lot that no one can understand.  He talks non-stop especially while we are in the van.  He loves to sing and sings to the hymns during sacrament meeting (very loud).
Sleep:  Nap time is around 12 every day and the twins can be super tired and as soon as I put them in their cribs, they perk up and play and talk with each other for almost 1 1/2 hours every day.  Night time is getting better, but they do the same thing at night.  Joseph became their room mate a few weeks ago and Joseph is always telling the twins to be quiet and go to sleep.  Joseph needs more sleep than the twins and is much better at going to bed.
Food:  Finally the twins are eating with utensils, but still are super messy.  They love meat and cheese and have learned to love ice cream cones.

Enjoying their first succors at a parade.  I know….I've deprived them for way too long from sugar, but it's easier to just not clean up the mess of sticky drool.
This is one of their favorite places to sit.  Bottom of the stairs.  Jordan absolutely loves this book that makes animal sounds.
The boys love the outdoors.  Jaxon is pretty good at swinging the bat and hitting the ball off the tee, but Jordan needs quite a bit of help with it.  Jaxon is more into balls and seems better at his ball skills.
This is how I take the twins swimming.  They are safe and they have really enjoyed the water.  The first of the summer they did not like the water, but they enjoy swimming now.  Jordan has put on his floaty and will wear it around the house.  Jordan (L) Jaxon (R)
I have to admit that I am a stress case and don't do well taking two 1 yr olds to the park.  Tonight we went with the whole family and the twins loved it.  The slides were a hit.  Jordan (L) Jaxon (R)

Ahhhhh!  Nothing is cuter than when twins share food.  Jaxon was sharing his pear with Jordan.  Jordan decided he liked it so much that he started chasing Jaxon around for another bite.  I gave Jordan one of his own and we sat on the couch and enjoyed our pears.
The sharing is cute, the fighting is not.  Jordan bites Jaxon on his arm all the time.  And Hard!  I'm surprised he hasn't broken the skin yet.  Not long after this sharing moment, Jaxon had a toy that Jordan wanted and so Jordan took matters into his own hands and bit Jaxon.
