First of our mobility

Jordan is mobile!  A couple days ago he finally started rolling over from his stomach to his back to complete his full turn. Now he is rolling all over the room. This is the start of a new harder mobile stage. It has been nice to leave the twins on the floor and they don't go far. So long. Jordan will be crawling before too long or at least army crawling. He is trying so hard!!  Jaxon on the other hand is content being in one place!  

This is where I found Jordan this morning when I let him play on the floor (I was trying to stay in bed a few extra minutes). 

Swimming for first time

We finally made it to the pool and got the boys in. Usually the twins sit in the stroller while the big kids swim. They are really good about just sitting there most of the time. Usually I am by myself and so I can't take them in the pool. 

Notice how in so many pictures of the twins my kids like to photo bomb the babies. 

Twin disguised

We are basically celebrities wherever we go and so people are pointing and talking to us since we have twins. Today I found a way to shop that doesn't bring attention to the twins. Although, Jordan was asleep and Jaxon was awake so it worked out perfectly. I had a guy at loses helping me and he didn't even notice another baby in my cart!!

Joseph was trying to smile by the way. Jaxon is just starting to sit up so this was a good challenge for him. 

6 months!

Twins 5 months

The days and months seem to fly by.  This 5 month update is a little late.  Boys are growing so fast now!  I can't even remember what went on to write.  The boys play more with toys and love to jump in their jumpers..  They seem like they have been teething a lot, but no teeth yet.

Brooklyn with the twins swimming for their first time.  They didn't stay in the water long since it was me and the kids.  I think Jordan is on the right this time.  Can't tell and can't remember.  

The boys are just adorable.  It is hard to not take a ton of pictures of these guys.  Jordan is on the left and Jaxon on the right.  

Jordan always sleeps on the left and Jaxon on the right.  Jaxon sleeps through the night and Jordan ends up waking up once and he kicks when he wakes up.  I'm always afraid he will wake his brother up.

4 months

The babies decided to wake up at 4:30 AM and both not go to sleep after eating, so I can update the blog!  These are from May (Month 4 of the babies).  I wish I can remember everything that was going on at 4 months, but things go so fast and everything turns into a blur even faster!  

The babies are finally big enough to ride in their double stroller.  We had lots of softball and t-ball games that they got to go watch.  

Getting 2 babies to smile and look at the camera at once is kind of tough.  Thank goodness for I-Phones so you can take tons of pictures right after the other.

Twins finally started sitting up in their bumbo's.  They had the head bob going on quite a bit, but they were just getting stronger.

Big brother Joseph really loves his brothers.  He was pretending to give his brothers a blessing.  He loves to do this to the babies when they are laying next to each other.  He'll tell me that he is giving them a blessing.

They love to play on their playmate more this month.

Up until sometime in the 4th month I would feed them both at the same time.  When one would wake up, I would start getting bottles warmed up, go change both babies, finish making bottles, then pick both babies up at once and put them on my lap and bottle feed them.  They would go right back to sleep and then I could go back to bed.  They would usually go to sleep about 10pm, wake up between 2-3am, then again around 5:30-6am to eat.  Well, they were getting so much bigger that it was hard for me to put them back into their crib without one of them waking up, so I had to start feeding them one at a time and hope the other baby didn't wake up, then I would feed the other baby.  

The 4th month they really started smiling more and laughing a little bit.  They love to be talked to and will talk back to you.  They love all the attention they get.

Blessing Day

May 4, 2014 the twins were blessed at our church.

Daddy/Uncle Twins holding the twins!  Love it!  It was so neat to be able to have Arlyn and Torrie come out for the baby blessing.  What a neat experience for all of us.  Brooklyn cried when they left!
